Vaccination and screening indicators updated in all reports and data query. Some minor changes in some cervical, anogenital and oral cancer figures in continent and world reports.

Cofactors and head & neck cancer indicators fully updated in country, continent and world reports, as well as fact sheets and data query. Minor corrections to multiple reports.

Data on HPV type distribution among cervical cancer cases in Philippines has been updated.

Demographic and Socioeconomic Factors (section 2), Sexual and Reproductive Health Behaviour Indicators (section 6), Condom Use data (section 8) and Indicators related to immunisation practices other than HPV vaccines (section 9) have been fully updated for all regions and countries. This new release updates all reports, fact sheets and data query.

The section on HPV infection statistics has been fully updated with new data, including HPV prevalence and type-distribution for cervical, anal, vulvar, vaginal and penile cancers as well as precancerous lesions and women with normal cytology. The current update includes the addition of new data to the World, America, Asia, Africa, Oceania, Europe and 196 countries reports. This new release also includes updates to HPV infection statistics in the fact sheets and data query.

Corrected duplicate table data in section 4.4.2 'HPV-Related Statistics for Head and Neck Cancers' in the World, America, Asia, Africa, Oceania and Europe reports.

The section on HPV prevention strategies, including cervical cancer screening and HPV vaccination, has been updated with new information on programs’ characteristics and coverage statistics.

Data for all countries has been updated for all indicators, with the exception of HPV infection statistics section.

The section on HPV infection statistics has been updated with new statistics on the HPV prevalence and type-distribution for anal, vulvar, vaginal and penile cancers and precancerous lesions. Some of the studies included have been corrected. New figures and global estimates have been added.

The section on HPV infection statistics has been fully updated with new data, including HPV prevalence and type-distribution for cervical, anal, vulvar, vaginal and penile cancers and precancerous lesions, head and neck cancers, women with normal cytology, and anogenital sites in men from the general population and special populations.

Section on cancer burden has been updated with new data on age-specific cervical cancer burden and trends for cervical, anal, vulvar, vaginal and penile cancers.

Several figures and tables of Sections 3 and 4 of the reports and Modules M1 and M2 of the data query have been redesigned.

Summary Reports (regions and world): The legend of maps displaying age-standardized rates (ASR) of cervical cancer has been relabeled (both for incidence and mortality maps).

Summary Reports/Data query: the pooled prevalence and its 95% confidence added in the forest plots for women with normal cytology, precancerous cervical lesions and invasive cervical cancer.

Fixed an error on the Data Query display of HPV prevalence data for cervical lesions (high grade, low grade) and normal cervical cytology.
