Data on HPV type distribution among cervical cancer cases in Philippines has been updated.
Demographic and Socioeconomic Factors (section 2), Sexual and Reproductive Health Behaviour Indicators (section 6), Condom Use data (section 8) and Indicators related to immunisation practices other than HPV vaccines (section 9) have been fully updated for all regions and countries. This new release updates all reports, fact sheets and data query.
The section on HPV infection statistics has been fully updated with new data, including HPV prevalence and type-distribution for cervical, anal, vulvar, vaginal and penile cancers as well as precancerous lesions and women with normal cytology. The current update includes the addition of new data to the World, America, Asia, Africa, Oceania, Europe and 196 countries reports. This new release also includes updates to HPV infection statistics in the fact sheets and data query.

Summary Reports/Data query: the pooled prevalence and its 95% confidence added in the forest plots for women with normal cytology, precancerous cervical lesions and invasive cervical cancer.
Fixed an error on the Data Query display of HPV prevalence data for cervical lesions (high grade, low grade) and normal cervical cytology.
Minor correction: removal of male cancer sites from figures 4, 5, 11 and 12 of the country reports and figures 8 and 15 of the Oceania report. These bar charts compare the incidence/mortality of cervical cancer to other cancers in women.
New figures on the HPV-16 prevalence among women with low-grade cervical lesions and women with high-grade cervical lesions have been added or updated for the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Honduras, India, Iran,Jamaica,Japan, Kenya, Korea, Morocco, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Senegal, Thailand, United States of America, Vietnam, South Africa; and the following Regions: Americas and Asia.
